It's grindstone (

Have done a ton of art this week - lots of work on the last two color commissions I'll do for a LONG time, a small graphic design freelance project, more roses, the most complicated inkwork I've probably ever done (nearly finished! Gods, I never want to draw spiderwebs and bugs again...). I've been playing hookey from the Internet a bit - or at least, from my Internet obligations... totally neglecting my own forums (which apparently need my kick in the butt to stay active), and getting little bits of coding done here and there and planning Big Things for the grand re-opening. Finished the fiction and art sections of EMG-Zine.
But mostly, we've been working on the house.

MY SHOWER DRAINS! In fact, aside from a potential future washing machine, the outlet plumbing is 100% finished. Done, done, done.
In addition, my studio now has a door. It's a wonderful french-style double-door, solid wood that matches the pale birch of the siding, with a (locking) antique brass side-lever handle. Gorgeous. I owe you photos. (Lots of photos, actually.)
