The Torn World site now has a fully integrated resources function. It will allow articles to be created for locations (cities, or regions), events (wars, famines, etc), flora, fauna, language, member resources and general world stuff - all sorted by access and type. Events show up automatically on the timeline (though I've still got a niggly date problem to fix), and locations are linked from stories. (Stories already show up on the timeline.) Eventually, a surfable map will also link to the locations. Later. Head's all full of code for now, and my laptop is getting low of juice.
