It's the stupidest little things that hang me up the worst. whywhywhywhywhy are quote marks truncating the fields??? Addslashes, you have failed me epically.

Three hours on this error so far, and it's frustrating the hell out of me. I don't want to give up now - that means IT WINS, and I'm too stubborn for that.

ETA: Joy! Because I am brilliant, I totally solved the problem using htmlentities and it worked smashingly! Then I accidentally deleted the entire database trying to clean up my test posts! GENIUS!
