I arted yesterday. Cleaned the house, slept in, went to a party and arted.

Should have worked on EMG, but I gotta go in to work today (bastards!) so I knew I wouldn't be able to draw at gaming and it had been a WHOLE week since I picked up a pencil for art. So I got up, did some token cleaning (dishes and uncovered my drafting table), and did art.

I finished the piece, and am terribly pleased with myself. My first successful furry, drawn for watergazer's drawme contest. Did I mention that I'm pleased with it?





Hope she likes it. :)

Lots to do, gotta run. Comments to answer and more stories to tell, but they'll have to wait.

Wow, that is awesome and I can't believe you stippled it. I'll make a special note of that when I am able to link your entry to my contest page. I especially like how she looks like a sage. Nobody has really gone for that level of mystery with my character and I like it. Especially love the ruffles in the tail. BTW: have you tried doing art on scratch or clayboard? You would be amazed what you could do with your stippling on that paper type...your style is just screaming for it. I can visualize it right now, white standing out on black...in stipple! I'd love to see you work on some of it. Also, let me know about the new order costs (including the "SKin SHifter" portions... I am going to have a smaller version of "Skin Shifter" made for you to scan.

I will have to pick up some scratch board... I've never used it before, but I love some of the examples I've seen. I will have to check my inbox and get you an email. :)
