Here I am, all ready to chew out a heap of EMG updates, organize uploaded files, and basically kick some business butt, and I can't ftp to EMG. Or PA. And permissions have gotten screwy at the upload site or something... I'm very displeased!

I suppose I could consider this an engraved invitation to work on writing projects or something positive, but I'd rather complain.

Can someone saavy tell me how to set my default 'page not found' page back to system? It's stuck on changing to some stupid spammy search engine which cheeses me off because I have to re-type the url instead of refreshing.

What you have is a browser hijacker program. There are ways to reset your home page through your internet settings and through your registry, but if you get a really slick hijacker like I did, neither of those will work. What I finally did was download a nifty little program that keeps anyone from hijacking my browser. Whenever something tries to reset my home page, it alerts me and sets it back to what I want it to be. The program is called "Browser Hijack Blaster", and you can get it at CNET.com . Its free and it works great.
