To be very honest, I'm not 100% sure about our location. I put the ring where I think we are. Can't see many landmarks, thanks to the smoke!

So is it lightening causing the fires, or something else?
Many of the forest fires here are caused by people camping or hiking and being irresponsible with campfires and cigarette butts in dry forest.

It's likely lightning... I'm pretty sure that was the Boundary fire start, anyway.
