Argh! Lost my stupid entry.

Short version:

Considering tablet... should I wait for the Cintiq I really want ($1499) or settle for an Intuous?

What size?

Buy new?

Also, I have new t-shirts to try out and would love some product testers. You buy a shirt (any design available) through the webpage, but instead of getting a normal ordinary shirt, I'll be getting black-capped white baby-doll shirts, tapered black or white shirts (not quite baby doll, but a girly t-shirt cut) and wide-strapped tank tops. Pick your poison. I'll include a handful of extra goodies with your order, and you wash and wear and let me know what you think. I'll refund your money if it turns out to be crap, of course.

Woot...

GIRLY CUT TSHIRTS! :D :D :D I want to test! - but I'm waiting for the new colouring books to come out before I use my credit. ^^; I'm really happy you got tshirts with a feminine cut (yours truly looks horrid in the boxy shape of a unisex tshirt), and I hope they turn out to be good quality.

BTW, I'll be sending your package out today or tomorrow (I'm kinda slow, sorry :X).

No input on the tablet, although I do know that if you get a used one you may need to replace the tablet pen, or at least the nib, as those do wear out.

I'll take you up on that. Where should we let you know what kind of shirt to send?

I think I might want to take you up on that offer, too...depends on if you have my size or not. :/

(grabs chest) There's a tablet going for more than a thousand bucks?

My Intuos has a 6" x 8" work area. Works great for me.

I LOVE my Intuos. I think you'd be insanely happy with it. While Cintiq are awfully cool (okay, insanely cool), I don't feel that it took too long to pick up on watching the screen and not my hand. The biggest challange for me was just learning digital painting, period. I used a friend's Graphire, and honestly didn't notice a difference except for the working area. She has a 6x8 and I have a 9x12. If you're curious about quality? I'd say all of the Wacom products are equally awesome. If it tells you anything, Linda Bergkvist (http://www.furiae.com/) uses a Graphire. :)

And I would definately go with a new one, simply because then you know how many times you drop it/hit it, etc.

I want to do it!!!! I tried, but all I have for payment is paypal. I'd love to get one of the capped shirts though. Any way we could do something with paypal?

I started out with a 9x12 intuos I, which I loved. I recently replaced it with a Cintiq.

Quite frankly, while it's nice to be able to draw directly on the screen, the $1,000 price difference between a 9x12 intuos II (or is it III now?) and the equally sized 15" Cintiq just isn't worth it.

Now if you want to have 2 monitors on your computer anyway, then it's great.

You can't put it in your lap like a normal tablet, which is a major irritation.

My 2 cents: Save the extra $1k and just get an intuos.

*Disclaimer: I don't know why I have a Cintiq and Painter 8. I can't do a decent digial painting to save my life. Give me my paint brushes any day!

Oh...and I meant to add...

I'd like to be a Guinea Pig! Not literally...I don't like the idea of a waterbottle and a wheel in a cage...

All depends on if you have the shirts in a size that'll fit me.

It's on its way :)

From what I understand, the shirts aren't in yet? If they are, could you wait until next week some time to send it? I gave my ND PO Box, and I won't actually be there to check it until Monday.. Thanks! *hugs*
