I think I'm getting strep. Three days now, my throat has hurt like little pins and needles, and yesterday, my lymph nodes swelled up, and this morning there are white bits in the back of my throat. Otherwise I feel okay, besides fighting off a UT infection and a headache and a backache. Gahhh... I'm sick of being sick. At work cleaning up some things that others can't take care of before I go spend my day in the waiting room at the clinic.

sounds like strep, but I had all those symptoms in february, and my doctors were convinced I had strep, but three throat cultures came back negative. We never did figure out what was wrong....

Sorry to hear that Ellen, I hope the doctors can sort you out and you'll be feeling your normal self in no time, it sounds as though you need some time out for yourself too.

White things in the throat is a symptom of strep? I never knew that. Do these "white things" pop off Ellen? Seems to be a lot of things doctors can't identify these days.
