Also, I got a box of chocolate in the mail (big hugs to Wendy!!!), and I got some good news on a couple of thought-they-were-lost-commissions... the sun is out, I had a nice lunch with my mom, got orders out, filed PA stuff, got my Dragon*Con panel application in, and now I'm going to write for a little bit, draw and call it a day!

A little miffed by the fact that I haven't heard back from the printer yet... he was supposed to call me LAST Monday to go over my projects, and hasn't replied to my multiple hassling emails from either email address. I really wanted this guy to work out - he does the sketchbooks for Larry Elmore, and I know his quality is good. Tomorrow, I'll be desperate enough to call him. (Long distance charges + Dire Hatred of Phones means it has to be a pretty desperate Ellen to resort to calling someone. If I've ever called you, or accepted a call from you, you may consider yourself among the lucky few.)

Sounds like you hate phones as much as I do ( result of living since being six years old without one... until 5 years ago)...I get really sullen when Sandy wants me to call someone on the cell when he is driving: "GRRR!! I HATE this cell phone! I want to throw it out the window! I used to look forward to being in the car as an excuse to not have to call anyone!"

Funny thing is that I remember being quite the little talker when I was 4-5 years old. <:)
