So what exciting event do I get to top off my wonderful month with? A UT infection.

With a cut for the squeamish...



Felt it coming on last night... you probably know it if you've ever had one; that little nagging I gotta pee I gotta pee I gotta pee I gotta pee that has nothing to do with reality. So I bought cranberry juice, and have drunk probably 2 gallons of the stuff since yesterday (making me fairly queasy). The night was AWFUL... lying awake, my nether areas complaining I gotta pee I gotta pee I gotta pee I gotta pee while the rest of me is trying to convince it that no, I don't have to pee. I just peed. There's nothing LEFT in there, now go to SLEEP, already...

Three hours at the doctors office this morning, waiting around in those gawdawful uncomfortable chairs, five minutes with an actual doctor, the whole pee in the cup routine...

1.5 hour wait at the pharmacist... I didn't stay around. I've gotten nothing done yet today, and I'm getting testy.

Also, I gotta pee.



Now, I'm going to head over to Jake's work and enjoy some grilled hot dogs and potatoe chips and pickles in the unseasonable sun (we might set a record today!) and get my prescription.
