I hate credit cards...

Getting a migraine, I think.

My t-shirt wholesaler called back saying my credit card was declined - which I was thoroughly surprised by... I'd been making a lot of big purchases on it, so I'd double-checked before I placed my order to see that I still had some wiggle room before I hit my limit. But I needed those t-shirts, so I put the charge on my personal card, and gave my business card a WTF phonecall. Well, the charges HAD cleared - the first time. They'd tried to double-charge me, and the SECOND charges didn't clear. So now, I've got that damn order charged on two separate cards. I called the t-shirt place, and gave them grief, and, while they couldn't take care of it Right Now, they promised to take care of it first thing on Monday, and gave me the personal extension for their billing gal, who said she'd straighten everything out. Fortunately, the personal card has a ridiculous limit, or I'd be more upset.

At least I'll have my t-shirts by Tuesday. So rarh. And this place does have an awesome selection...

Not in a good mood - tracking down artists and sorting through this gawdawful boring admin stuff is my least favorite part of the business, and I've spent ALL morning doing it. Plus the credit card junk. Only three designs QCed and imaged at the new EMG, and my head is *pounding*. It's honestly very depressing seeing how many artists got halfway through the submission process and just didn't bother getting me their images, or sending in their contracts, or whatever. Why did they waste my time? *glower*

Oh well... their loss.

Feeling tired and cranky.

I want to write. Or draw, or something FUN, but I think I need to go lie down and put ice on my eyes for a while instead. I'll feel better after a nap and some food. I don't think I'm entirely over this cold yet, either. Meh.

I hope I haven't done anything with my submissions that is causing you extra stress. :X I've been worrying about that, since I've been a complete airhead about keeping track of things, and the last thing you need is more stress.

That's a lot of stress. And the double-billing thing is a pain in the ass. That happened to me once with pizzas, totally pissed me off. Yeah, pizzas aren't t-shirts, but I had no money at the time and no food and the busses weren't running and a pizza delivery was my only option, and they tried to charge me $64.00 for a medium pizza, and I didn't have that much money on my card, and so...

But the pizza thing worked itself out, and it looks like the t-shirts are, too.

They got halfway through before the Procrastination Bug bit them...or clobbered them over the head...or it might be the Laziness Bug, or the I-Jest-Plumb-Fergot-bug... :\ On the bright side, you'll never have to track me down, in fact you would have a hard time getting rid of me, if you *wanted* to get rid of me that is. ;)

As for the credit card incident, I am surprised that they hadn't run into that before.. .Sometimes when a transaction messes up at our store when we try to rering the order it won't go, a pain in the butt if you have a real reason for re-ringing the order, but good if someone was trying to double charge (of course sometimes there are so many orders floating around it is hard to keep track of who it taking care of what, but you figure a t-shirt place would haver that figured out by now...then again we are only human). It always seems like the stuff that needs to be handled during the week happen on the weekend. :p I hope they sort that out and give you some complimentary T-shirts for the trouble and stress they put you through. "Ellen, you are awesome!" "Whoo, girl you look hot today!" <-- wait, is that second one a complimentary t-shirt or a sleezy one? ;)

I hope that cold gets out of your system ASAP!
