I'm utterly useless this morning - I should probably get off this brainsucking machine and try to draw or write or something, but mehh... I had horrid, horrid nightmares last night. Aliens were taking over the world, killing off lots and lots of people, possessing dogs, herding people into trains for experiments... it was just... *shudder* Woke up as I was being killed, I think. It was very disturbing.

I also overslept, which is sort of good, because I was running short on sleep, but sort of bad, because I feel so muzzy now.

I get two more dogs today - I'm dogsitting for Matt and Nicki for a few days. Hopefully they'll all give each other lots of exercise. :)







I think I'll got make some tea or coffee... maybe do dishes and try to whip myself into productivity.

When I'm really tired, my eyes do weird things with perspective. I was just looking at that photo and wondering why you'd have a cupboard door on the side of a filing cabinet, since presumably all you'd see when you opened it was the side of the drawers.

I had to look at it twice before it flattened out into drawers and a door side by side.

Wow. Velcro looks almost exactly like my Zorro. Then again, black cats always look the same in photographs.

Oh! Norway is such a pretty dog! I love brindles, especially the really dark ones. He is exactly the color of a cat I once had. That was an awesome cat.

By the by... for some reason, I hadn't actually internalized that you were in Fairbanks. I guess I must have assumed you were in Anchorage, but then you posted about Jeff needing to fly to Anchorage, so... no.

It's on my mind recently, as I am rereading "Two in the Far North", which always makes me nostalgic for an Alaska that I have of course never visited.
