Ellen, I do that too. When I'm very busy or stressed, I dream about working. Then I wake up tired because I've been painting or doing some other work in my dreams! It's terrible, it makes you feel as if you've been cheated out of sleep!
I hate the work related dreams, but they are better than the dreams of being chased by dinosaurs...stupid dinos, can't get away from them in Jeeps, or by going inside or anything...*grumble*
LOLOLOL! This sounds SO familiar! I work my butt off in my sleep and am positively miffed when I wake up and realize it wasn't "fer reals".....LOLOL! Oye! Cruel trick!
I don't get work related dreams usually, but I do sympathize. Last night I had dreams that my house was overrun with mice. Not a nice dream since we caught eight last winter and two all ready this season.
I've been spending the last fortnight nailing metal sheeting over rat holes, then they chew another hole. I know its cold out there but they can blithering well go seek shelter elsewhere. I have to build a new kitchen extension in the summer and I think it may be a good idea to wire mesh the underside of the floorboards.
I once dreamed (when I was about 8) that I got up and went to school and had a usual day, about lunchtime in my dream I woke up in my bed in the middle of the night, I went back to sleep and had the same dream and this time woke up about teatime in my dream, I went back to sleep and woke up as usual but spent all day at school wondering when I was going to wake up again. For months after that I was weirded out because I didn't know how to tell if I was awake or asleep and I didn't trust the reality of anything around me.
