Swearing ahead...
Dec. 16th, 2005 12:35 pmSHIT SHIT SHIT!!
I'm on Dreamhost's watchlist again - one of the goddamn scripts is causing issues on their servers again. SONUVABITCH. I have already emailed them to tell them that I am aware of the problem and will address it, but that I *can't* until tomorrow when they post the resource logs to me, because... I won't know what the problem is if I disable everything because it won't show up in the logs! I also warned that the last time this happened, they moved me to the bad dog servers without warning and lost all my backups and to please see that it didn't happen again.
GODDAMN, I don't need this right now!
Jesus Fucking Christ, this is just unbelievable.
... Here's the original problem, if you'd like the gory details: http://www.livejournal.com/users/ellenmillion/387872.html
I just want to... cry, I think. Or scream. Or beat my head against a wall.

Date: 2005-12-16 11:27 pm (UTC)Do they give any indication of what the misbehaving script is doing? Eg. is it eating too much cpu time or trying to access files it shouldn't? Or?
And at the risk of being smacked...
You should run a copy of your site locally and debug things there before uploading the scripts to Dreamhost. Last I looked, Dreamhost was running Apache and mySQL. Both are available for windows (as I'm assuming you're running windows, not some *nix). You'd have immediate access to the logs for debugging what's misbehaving.
And having said that, I'm sorry thigns are going crappy.

Bugger all.
