EMG-Zine deadline - 11 days!

Just a headsup on the next deadline for EMG-Zine. Theme is romance. Especially looking for short little paragraphs for survival tips of spouses of writers or artists to include in a larger feature. Also, the guidelines have been updated: http://www.emg-zine.com/guidelines.html

(Yes, it occurs to me that this also means I have only 11 days to pull the first issue out of my butt and don't think that it isn't starting to give me tremors and cold sweats...)

Dreamhost is doing their level best to lose my business. I still have no resource logs, and haven't heard back from customer support since Saturday. (Though two auto-warnings followed)

Print Pelican is about to get chewed out number 2. I still haven't been reimbursed, and there hasn't been an email since last week.

Bookmobile is about to get an earful, too. They haven't invoiced me for shipping Wish3 yet, and I still need to rag them about not letting me choose the method.

I HATE this part of my job. HATEHATEHATE.

The rest, I mostly love.

Earlier I said I'd probably be contributing to the next deadline. Unfortunately I won't be able to make it, having a few commissions besides wanting to make the EMG deadline. :3 Hopefully Celtic Fey will make it. ::cross fingers::

Crap. Ted and I are both going to do things for the Feb issue, but we don't get net at home until the 3rd and I can't promise we'll have stuff in on time. Wah.

Ellen I've written a fantasy poem I think might fit February's theme, both in terms of romance but also inspired by the trials of living with an artist/writer because you said you wanted bits on that but I got distracted into poetry instead. I haven't sent it because you said on the page not to send unsolicited, I have emailed you on the form about it, and its saved in rtf with the file name format you required ready to go if you want to see it. I shan't be by my comp Xmas day, but aprt from that I can bounce it to you anytime you want.
