I'll do it myself!
Nov. 3rd, 2006 08:24 amI should get that motto tattooed somewhere... it sure seems to be my life's mantra. And I have been toying with the idea of a tattoo for a while. I really loved Ursula's (fictional) approach to scars and tattoos - maybe I'll get something around my fifth lumbar, since I have no particular scars.
Anywho, wordcount is at I left it yesterday. I plan to take my laptop into town and do about a billion loads of laundry, and since my parents have dialup, I will probably get some writing done. Or find another way to goof off, of course.

And, in wonderful flicking style (doing other stuff that needs to be done in the name of procrastinating on something that needs to be done more...), I got art done yesterday.

These are all available at Portrait Adoption, but you will have to be logged in to see them there because they are recent. I've had a terrible lack of general adoption pieces - which sort of makes sense since the submitted descriptions are more likely to be picked up, and they haven't been open long enough that there are un-adopted pieces from descriptions to be put up generally. Anyway, I figured we needed some in a bad way, so I made some myself. I actually /like/ most of them, too.
I also got about 90% through an ink ACEO.
Making some tough decisions about... um... stuff, and am terribly pleased with my options and wishing I could choose 'all of the above.' But just can't, so I have to cross some of these off.
Okay, orders to print and package up, then pack up the laundry for an exciting day of dirty clothes and writing.

Date: 2006-11-03 09:55 pm (UTC)I finally printed out and filled out the paperwork to join PA - I just need to drop it in the mail to you. Are you taking new artists for that? I've been wanting to get involved in that for a while now!
Also, going to make a note of ALL the EMGzine themes for next year so maybe I can work ahead and actually have stuff to contribute rather than this year how I'd wait and then not have enough time to do one!

Date: 2006-11-06 12:39 pm (UTC)Tattoo's in fantasy art are fine, in real life on skin they make me feel a little nauseous. I don't think I could kiss a man who had a tattoo urgh!
Have fun with the laundry.
