Lord ahmighty...
Nov. 30th, 2006 11:26 amI just finished writing the last EMG-Zine news for 2006, and hot damn - I've done a LOT this year! I'd been feeling pokey and un-productive since I couldn't get my NaNo count up, but really, I've done okay. More than okay, really IMPRESSIVELY.
*strains shoulder patting self on back...*
I still need an office monkey in a bad way, and dear heavens, I have a lot to finish today because tomorrow I have a 9 AM appointment for some freelance work that would be Very Good to have, and I'm going to go do stuff now instead of blogging about how I have stuff to do...
PS: The backend of Fantastic Portfolios rocks my socks. You are going to LOVE it.

Date: 2006-12-01 05:49 am (UTC)I just wanted to say thank you so much for inspiring me to do NaNo WriMo this year. :)
And I think your story is going along really well, congrats on getting as far as you did, you have such a busy life I don't know how you manage! I keep checking to see if you've posted any more of it. Iwould have suggested that you make it something for EMG-zine, thereby forcing you to work on it every month, but then there is the trouble of "What if someone takes the story".
I haven't let anyone read mine yet, it's all messed up,and not finished yet (!!). I've jumped around in the story a lot, which is good when I get bored about writing about the things with the red glowing eyes and slavering jaws, that think a chunk of the Heros might be a tasty treat. Ooo, that reminds me that I have to finish writing the scene about the birds...
I might have to break up the two story lines before they merge and save them as different files. <:)
Bad, bad Ellen!
