Honestly, I have to ask, here.... Are we surprised because it's 40 degrees WARM or 40 degrees COLD? 'Cuz 40 strikes me as BIG FRICKIN' COAT weather, but given your locale, I'm guessing you're pleased?

Usually, at this time of year, it's about 80 degrees colder and 40 BELOW, so this is shorts weather!! Still, I'm not awfully pleased - it means the snow and ice are melting and will freeze into something very slick and unmanageable. It's much easier if it gets below freezing and STAYS there until spring!
