This may be firmly in the 'too much information' category for all you classy, civilized folks with your high-faluting luxuries, but I just used my toilet. And it flushed. And I was exceedingly happy. And because LJ is all about sharing frivolous personal triumphs, I had to come and blog the experience.

LOL!! Hooray for flushing toliets!! hehehe Seriously though, I can somewhat identify---i've had to pour water in an older toilet at my old place to make it flush, the chain kept breaking, the toliet never stopped running....hehehe...oh yes, the hot water in the tub never stopped trickling (pouring) so it was always a big pain to go in the basement and shut off the water all the time!! Now we have a toilet that is really weak when you flush it, but at least the landlord can fix it!!! ;)

Speaking of which, how far out do you live from the city these days? My wife and I are looking at trying to get up there to visit my family sometime this year, and it'd be nice to see you again. Maybe we could do dinner or something, if it's not too much of a pain for you to get in town. :) I think you told me something about where you are at D*C, but my memory is horrible.

P.s. No stories of my disgraceful younger years in front of my wife. ;)

Aw, you take all the fun out of it! I live close enough to make a trip into town, no problem - sounds like a great idea! Have a favorite location? (Lemongrass is our favorite, but I'll eat anything. :P)

The only places I remember eating are some awesome Mexican place that may not even be there anymore, and Jeffries, or however you spell it. :)
