Writing poll

Okay, so I've been loyally working on art for an hour every morning before connecting to the brain-sucking Internet, which has worked out tremendously well for me. I want to add to this an hour of writing, but I'm quite scattered about what to write about. Ideas are not a problem for me. Direction - definitely need a little poke on that.




I am, among other things, even considering trying to do a column at rpg.net... maybe something on being a girl gamer, or character art or something. Ideas in that direction would be peachy. I could probably not do that and continue to carry so much of the burden at EMG-Zine, though... which is sort of another discussion, 'cause I'm thinking waffly-y about shutting EMG-Zine down at the end of the year, and I need to make that decision soooooon. But like I said, that's another topic. For now, writing!!

Which reminds me, I want to order a copy of 2007's anthology (having 2006 already on order) but the link is still for the 2006 (which you still need for new readers) but if you are going to do the anthology and not run away screaming after this years exprience I dooooo want one.

Yes! the internet is evil! It sucks away my time...One morning I told myself " Ok, you need to finish this picture BEFORE you get computer time...but I'll just check one thing while I am eating..." and there went the morning. :p Yesterday I limited myself to one hour on the internet in the morning and actually got some art done!

I think I am already on the writing filter, but I am not sure anymore...I wish I had more experience with stuff so I could write more articles to help you out with EMG. But, if you end it this year, at least it had a good run, and it was lovely, well put together and you made books out of bits of it. :)

What's making you think of shutting down EMG-zine and what would be needed to keep it up? What could be changed about it to make it easier?
