Arrr, the wee kitty is a mite better this misty morning.

Happy talk like a pirate day!

Velcro at least said hello when I asked her how she was feeling, and got up and walked around and asked for breakfast. Though she was puzzled by the wet food I gave her, and not terribly interested in it, she did eventually eat it. She left me presents to clean up this morning, but a lot fewer than yesterday morning. I'm back to thinking it was just a wicked case of constipation, because there was another little hard turd waiting for me at the bedroom door.

Much to catch up on...

If you aren't already, you might consider adding just a smidge of fish oil to Velcro's food daily or a few times/week. That and flaxseed are supposed to help with constipation, coat, and general digestion.

I buy fish oil capsules in the people-pill section of the grocery store (Freddy's must have it). They're kinda like vitamin E capsules. I poke a whole in the narrow end and squeeze it out over his food. Just be sure not to put the capsule down on fabric that you care about -- as you might expect, concentrated fish oil reeks worse than just going salmon fish, which is bad enough.

And the pet stores carry little bags of powdery food supplements with flaxseed as its basis.

Neither are particularly expensive.
