I've been avoiding art...

I've been feeling horribly low about my art, and crushed under commitments, and thus avoiding it, to my own mental detriment. (Do as I say, not as I do, boys and girls!)

But last night I sketched a little and starting inking on one of the in-progress pieces.

And, I don't hate it so far!

Ooh, I remember the sketch. I think the inkwork looks fabulous, personally. And I absolutely adore the concept; I love how the three pieces of these characters' 'story' is very happy, very hopeful, but then they're bordered by the broken sword. It takes a while for the full implications to sink in, and when they do, it makes my heart twinge.

It looks gorgeous! And reminds me a lot of Princess Bride, very fairy tale-ish. I love that it encompasses a whole story =D
