I think that it feels like I have much more to do than I actually do because I am SO deathly unmotivated. I want to sleep. Or doodle evil mushrooms. Or watch StarGate, but I am out of StarGate!

On the plus side, the sun is coming back. In the middle of the day, when I can, I go to the middle of my studio (2nd floor) and just stand there staring at it. You've been gone so long, Mr. Sun! I've missed you! It isn't coming in the first floor yet, and it's only in the windows for such a short time. Give it a few days. We're on the downhill side of the dark.

I should be doing stuff.

I'm going through EXACTLY the same thing at the moment (except for the sun thing, although it has rained just about all summer here).
I feel as though I've lost all of my work ethic... I just can't get motivated. It's only really on order filling that kills me, other things I'm still getting done, but I'm finding it SO HARD getting orders out at the moment. I just want to paint, or read, or watch TV.
*sigh* I was meant to be interviewing a helper today and showing them the ropes, and they copped out on me! I'm going to start advertising again for someone else...

how you can cope with the dark i'll never know. i freak out in winter when it gets dark at 5pm or down to 15F....you must be wonderwoman. that's the only explanation i'll take.
