Vegas was a blast. We both got sick, which was naturally a bit of a drag, and holy bejeebuz that city is expensive and loud and gaudy, but it was still a very fun time and I'm glad we went and gladder to be home.

Behind, gotta get ready for work, pay some PA adoptions, and do a billion things. Jet lagged and the incredible quiet of my house is making my ears ring...

PS: Cirque du Soleil!!!

It IS expensive and loud and gaudy!! But there's nothing else like it...and it's kind of addictive. :P It's crazy that you hear sirens all the time there...and here you're lucky to hear them once a month or 2.

And the "smack boys" are a nuisance. Having kids with you will usually make them leave you alone.

Where all did you go? Besides Cirque.

Being sick, we didn't see all of what we wanted, but we wandered the strip, saw two Cirque shows and Jubilee, sat by the pool, people-watched, ate ourselves silly and generally had fun.

I remember one year Greg was sick...when it was just us. And one year Elycia got dehydrated. And one year Jen got the chicken pox (mild). Never fun to be sick on vacation.

Ooooh. Which Cirque show did you see? I've seen Ka and O in Vegas, and I think they both were well worth the money.

We saw Mystere and Zumanity, both of which were just amazing.

Ooooh. Mystere's the carnival one, right? I think I've seen that one on TV, but I can imagine how much better it is live. I really want to see Zumanity, too.
