~It's snowing. I was ready to be done with snow. Snow is not done with me.

~Probably won't be going on vacation*, thanks to the airline fiascos, but I'm still leaving all my notices up and I may not tell my boss. I may go to the hotsprings and spend a week imitating a raisin.

~Site and email are being SERIOUSLY buggy. Sorry folks. Trouble ticket is in.

~I'm trying to get enough done that we CAN go on our trip if we still decide to... which means taxes, 2 print service orders, 1 purse flap, 1 keychain, 1 PA order, 5 various paypal payments, two contract revisions, 1 print service delivery, 4 hours of dayjob work and some packing. Better get to it...



*It was not really a vacation, it was an in-laws/family business trip. I am not terribly upset about not going. Jake wants to go, but agrees that even if our exact flight isn't canceled, the travel experience will not be optimal. And since travel is a full 2 of the 7 days, that really counts.

Go to the hotsprings and relaaaaaax for a while. It's always good for you.
Although, good luck with getting everything in order to do so. It looks like a good-sized list.

Yeah, the hot springs plan seems like it'd be the best idea, all things considered - less hassle, less cost, and a lot more relaxing.

And we're still getting snow down here as well, so I don't know what's up with the weather these days...

What airline fiasco?

They're grounding most of the MD-80s in service, almost all of American Airlines, and other airlines, too. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/airline_safety_analysis

Some kind of safety/inspection/FAA regulation slip-up. 100,00 people are stranded in various places as nearly 2500 flights have been outright canceled. We decided not to join the ranks of stranded, since it looks like it will still be happening tomorrow morning. (And if our flight was canceled [very likely!], we'd be in line behind all those people back as far as Tuesday who were bumped off of their flights trying to get somewhere.) I imagine the airports are madhouses right now.
