It's pouring rain.

My sites are down.

I cannot access my email records further back than Saturday.

The fair starts tomorrow.

The first of the month (new EMG-Zine issue! Bills!) is tomorrow.

I have a work meeting today.

It's POURING rain.

But, I do have a fuzzy kitty in my lap who is cuddly and purring, if only for this short time, so it's not ALL bad.

Yeah, excellent point. I drove over the Cushman Street bridge today and the water's almost up to the bottom of the bridge -- probably not quite as high as it looks from the bridge itself (perspective and all of that) but still alarmingly high.

There was an item on the News-Miner website yesterday about closing the Chena floodgates to shunt the water, but obviously that only helps people who are getting flooded by the Chena, and more people are having trouble with the Tanana and Salcha rivers.
