My response from Dreamhost? "Ultimately it seems like you'll need to start from scratch since so much mail pilled(SIC) up."

Also, they claim my emillion address is working, which it is not.

I feel like I ought to be mad. But mostly I'm just tired of this already.

Feel free to whop me on the nose if this has been asked before... but why stay with Dreamhost after all this bad? Why not work with another provider?

A few reasons: they usually make right (and they may still, this time... I've just explained in gory detail how they should perhaps consider a bit more of an apology).

They usually provide good service, prompt and personal.

I have space and bandwidth out the yinyang because I've been with them so long (terrabytes of each, it's very heady stuff).

They are cheap.

And perhaps most of all, I dread in a deep and dreading sort of way the unbelievable headache of switching my sites (and all of my email records) over to anyone else. Whether or not I'm willing to tackle this anyway will depend entirely on what kind of response I get to my latest support ticket...
