ellenmillionI have to stop for now - my eyes are starting to cross, the painting needs to thoroughly dry, and I've got orders to fill. I think it will be good to rest on this for a bit, too. The roses are FINALLY the right color, and now the rest looks comparatively washed out. I might like that look. I can't decide. Still several details that need picked up - and another layer of green or two.
ETA: Something that made me happy today: My pets. Velcro was cuddly, but, knowing I wouldn't let her in my lap while I painted, curled up in the chair next to me, and played when I poked her in the tummy, and never minds being picked up and snuggled.
