Businessy bits!
Feb. 11th, 2009 01:23 pmI have improved the backend functions to the point where I *think* I can leave submissions open indefinitely. They are definitely staying open until the end of the month.
The group calendar, however, has not been a lucrative project the past two years. Right now, we're not quite breaking even on the project (let alone paying for my time and efforts in designing it and administrating the project), and that's just plain bad business. They are awesome, amazing, gorgeous calendars, but I can't run a charity.
If you want to save the calendar project, I need to make a dent in the calendars I've got in stock, so I'm issuing a challenge: if I sell 20 more calendars (any group project calendar!) before the end of the month, I'll do it again. If not, nope, the group calendar will be going away. If you have a blog, or DA gallery, please be sure to link to the calendars in question:
Fantasy Babies: http://www.ellenmilliongraphics.com/fantasyart/emggroup.php?id=31
Legends of the Sea: http://www.ellenmilliongraphics.com/fantasyart/emggroup.php?id=16
All future group calendars are at stake! And yes, calendars purchased as part of the bundles count towards that count. So do wholesale sales - and all included artists get wholesale pricing on their projects!
