Also, I am SO glad I called about my printer too late at night on Friday... it's working flawlessly again. Can't explain it. Not going to try to. Now obligated to order tea and get ordering of tea up. And soap.

I drew on my friends Saturday night! I totally dig this henna stuff and want to do moooooore.

Two big wholesale orders to pack up to ship tomorrow. Work tomorrow. Have to remember to bring my tall boots, because we'll be doing a site visit and it's snowed a foot.

I LOVE the composition of this piece! The border surrounding the girl looks very enchanting.. yet forshadowing danger. I can't wait to see it painted!

Wow, that's amazing Ellen - I reckon it would look gorgeous just with a light ink wash in an earthy light green (like new growth) maybe just down the sides and around the top, and a really light sepia tone up the middle

I love the depth and the texture, and the way the greenery really draws the eye up the path.

Will there be something through the door, or will you leave it being mysterious?

For the contest, I can only use the original media (colored pencils), but I may go back and do a few washes over the final version for myself. :P

I think I will leave just light showing at the end of the path and leave the rest up to the viewer's imagination.
