I have a million things more important to do, and this is the slog stage of this piece (several hours of work since the last scan, and it looks like nothin'), but the muse, she will not be denied.
Ah, I agree! Fortunately, that's just sloppy scanning. It's a 9 x 12 sketchbook and there's another inch or so off the left that I didn't get on the scanner. I'll crop the right if it's not centered properly in the final version.
