Where the !!!! OK, you're not where I am (damn!) because the App just kinda lazily crosses the southern part of the state and sends off a spur northerward while it heads on to NH & ME.... and it's still damn muddy. So you're probably someplace like NC or VA where it's already pretty as heck, warm, and more comfy for camping. Or not, I mean, you are a hardy northerner....

But dern, so close! (in 800 miles or so is less than 4000 or so... she lazily types not looking up actual distances...)

p.s. I get the pretty in a not-home way: this how I felt about Montan forests compared to Vermont... cool, wonderful, still forest... and yet so strangely different!

Costa Rica did the same thing to me ... heh.

Okay Ellen, where the heck did you go again? Sandy and I went on the Blue Ridge Parkway, the skyline drive a few years ago ( near charlotts ville NC), and it was beautiful. There was also a large goat or something in the woods, which we passed... That reminds me that I have photos of a really cool tree that I wanted to use in a picture.--Jenny--
