I got Project Wonderful ads coded into EMG-Zine and fussed extensively with the archives pages to make the 'continue reading' bit a lot more clear. All archived articles are free to read - you just have to click through a page of nice, tasteful ads to get there. That fact seems to have been missed by a few, so I cleaned it up some. I also made the article page default to something readable if you didn't have an actual article selected. Much coding. My head is full of it.

Art and Authoring

Here's an excerpt from what I wrote last night:

Akovu fought the roaring in his head to approach the receptionist behind
the counter. "Have you got an enlarger field for an old man?" he asked
winningly, with a sheepish, self-deprecating look. The receptionist fell
for it, and trotted off to fetch a field. Akovu let himself slump
against the counter, and watched the blink of the security light, catching
its pattern until he could slip into the temporary blind spot and reach
the machine interface data port to insert a chip with a quick, decisive
movement.

A quick command burst from the responder on his wrist, and the port began
to merrily import the data. He was back in his frame, looking dazed and
vacant, when the technician returned, receptionist at her heels, wringing
his hands.

They had figured him out, Akovu could tell in a glance. Whatever else age
had wrought on him, his exceptional mind had not lost its sharpness, nor a
whit of skill in observation.

Home and health

The smoke comes and goes, flows and ebbs. Yesterday, it was like a bruise across the center of town - all purple and yellow, with a blood run sun streaming through. It's higher than it was, at least - breathing is less thick and labored.

I brought Norway to work today, because I knew I'd have the office to myself. He's a little excited about the change of scenery, especially since dogs have been here, and there are TOYS! and smells! and noises! But he's generally good. He's going to be sad when I go fetch my lunch from across the street and leave him here alone.

Planning

Orders, tonight, and a walk with the dog. Pack for camping, and an early night, because tomorrow is an early morning.

I was about to give up on PW for lack of appropriate niche sites to advertise on...what's your id there?

*checks* I am ellenmillion, there. So far, I've got two half-banner slots, and they are both free. :)

I got my stuff the other day! Whooo! :D

How come the PW adspace is free? Is the starting bid zero or can you set it to free? I haven't looked much at PW. XD

The starting bid is zero, and no one has bid yet... so, $0 ads!

Doh, arr, I can't find you through PW, and can't find the PW ads on your site (sites, tried emg-zine and others) to click through to bid from there... Am I missing something?

They're only at EMG-Zine (so far!) and only on archived articles: http://emg-zine.com/item.php?id=534

Cool, thanks for approving me! Even with finding your account on PW, your ad boxes still aren't showing up in any searches I did for ad space... even specifying your domain, etc. Maybe it takes a little while before you're in their system to show up in searches? Anyway, I find PW pretty decent for advertising. I've got their ads on my AFAE site, and it earns me enough to spend back out keeping one of their automated ad campaigns going and a few other bids here and there.
