I managed to title yesterday's post by today's day of the week, which mightily confused me and made me think OMGITSTHURSDAYWHEREDTHISWEEKGO for a few moment. That it's already Wednesday is bad enough.

Business As Usual

More boxes and tubes and envelopes in the car to mail after work today, and I'm combing through my (awful, horrible) inbox for delinquent emails, of which I have found entirely too many. I've gotten down now to 80, which is the best I've been in... two months? *shameface*

Home and health

We're getting our chimney swept today - Jake gets to stay home for the sweep. We are way, WAY overdue for a chimney sweep. We tried to get one last fall and they were months and months out for scheduling, and then one of the sweeps fell off a roof and couldn't do them for a while. It took a month to get THIS appointment. It will be good to have a clean chimney for the (fast, FAST approaching winter).

Planning

My big push for today will be the banner and postcard design. I'd really like to get that done and ordered today.

I also need to make a decision on the Torn World contest, which has been very, VERY hard.

After Dragon*Con, I will have a life again. Dammit.

You are doing very well considering how much stuff you are having to yomp through.

If you have a straight uncomplicated chimney that doesn't require roof climbing, you might consider getting an extending chimney brush, some old sheets and someone to shout Yay when the brush pokes through.

My dad used to sweep the chimney, we only got a sweep in when he came down with gout.
