Business as Usual

Gradually getting caught up on orders, horray!

Starting to pull together criteria and coding outlines for commission-control.com.

Art and Authoring

I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to pull off adding the wolf in that space... it's a tough angle, and finding references is difficult. Does that relationship work okay? I've started refining the far figures and working on the ice cracks.

I've decided to ink this and re-print it onto hotpress watercolor paper for final color.

Home and Health

Siding still not done. (Still don't care!)

Planning

I need to inventory the printed t-shirts and totes I have remaining. They will be going on super, super clearance sale on the site once I've got them all listed and thumbnailed. Anything left over from that sale will be donated to charity. I'm so done with products.

Also, OH CRAP I FORGOT TO SEND IN MY PAPERWORK! I have a show I do in November that only allows my work (And Jennie's, if she's actually, physically at the table with me) that needed the application postmarked today. Guess who's making a trip into town tonight!

And orders to finish. And coding to do.

Linking

Spider Silk. From A MILLION spiders. How cool (and slightly creepy) is that?

I'm still doing cons and Rens and cans send you money for what I sell!

OH! Thank you for the reminder! (Did I also tell you at D*C that I was completely braindead and would remember nothing? I hope so...) Yes, this will be awesome, thanks! :)

Drop me an E or post something here.
And ideas for display. Shadecloth walls, pockets and curtain hooks.
If you want to come back to Dragon, I can bring display stuff to help you!
I like to help artists!

I like the added details, though you'll have to use some of your color to make sure that the two on the other side don't look stranded on a patch of ice broken off the glacier!

If the wolf is between your characters, it's HUGE. It would be ok if it were standing further up behind your stranded guy, or, of course, if in this world the wolves are giants.

Ah! I was actually worried that it's too small - this is an Elfquest picture, and the characters are small (under 4'), with very large wolves that they are able to ride. here's an official example.

Thanks! I'll keep an eye on that far patch!

Ah, I know Elfquest. If the figures are wolfriders, they're more slender/tall looking than most wolfriders. Wendy is very very good at making her characters look thin (i.e. lacking in extra fat) without making them look the least bit willowy. Of course, I don't know who these particular characters are, so they might be more slender than the average wolf rider.

You could make the wolf shaggier/broader, in that case. I think the head size is OK. Maybe the ears could be shaggier too; I think they're OK in size for the skin part of the ears. This angle is indeed an odd one, but it works in the composition of the picture. As does having your non-stranded folks in the center of the picture. (-:

Cool spider silk article! Now, who was it posted a link to "Coywolves"?

I think the wolf angle came out really well. :) And I like the way the rest of the foreground is featuring cracked ice, too. You get the feeling Blacksnake and Wasp may be standing on the bank, but it still looks like a good expanse of cracking ice, enough to give them pause. Maybe they COULD jump it, with enough of a running start... but I like how the far bank is also showing that landing could be tricky. Going around would definitely be the better part of valor. ;-)

BS looks oddly short-haired, but maybe that's just because you haven't done as much further work on him.
