ellenmillionWent and saw Avatar in 3D today with some fellow geeks. Wow! Gorgeous movie. I thought they did a wretched, awful, cardboard job with the bad guys, there were some serious plot problems, and I'm not a fan of the ending, but it was a pretty, pretty movie. Oh, and unobtainium? Really? Come on, now... Thanks for taking my suspension of disbelief and shooting it. But did I mention that it was pretty? The pacing was also good, I thought - it was hard to believe 3 hours had passed when we staggered out of the theater.
