My list of things to do yesterday? Not one thing crossed off. No, instead, I got totally whooped sideways by my code, my massage broke me (brutal back spasms != fun), and I had to miss bellydancing. I am not a happy camper, and now I have a BILLION things to do before tomorrow.

On the plus, my back feels much better today, I'm wearing my Superman shirt, and I'm going to pound this code into a puddle of compliance. You'll see.

So behind in LJ right now, so am doing a random read. re: bellydancing - How are you enjoying bellydancing? I had the chance to take a free bellydancing lesson once and it was fun! Hard work, tho...

I adore it! I broke my L5 vertebrae years ago, so I was worried that I wouldn't be able to, but in actuality, the core strengthening was really, super good for me - I enjoyed several months of virtually no back pain. (Sore muscles, but that's different!)

I had a bit of a backslide after my abdominal surgery at the end of April, and I am eager to get that strength back.

I'm taking ATS (American Tribal Style), which I like quite a lot better than more choreography-based bellydance. It's still challenging, but a much more communal-feeling dance style.
