Ellen wins!
Jul. 31st, 2010 11:42 pmI have successfully coded in the tours feature at Torn World. And it is awesome. I'm getting people to test it now, and will link to it soon.
I did art:

That many hours of work should look more together. 11 x 14, this is only a chunk out of the middle, and is so light, it scans like crud.
We got the radon pipes buried in the basement.
And, because it is tomorrow in civilized places of the world, there is a new issue of EMG-Zine up. Our 56th issue. Yo.

Date: 2010-08-01 08:40 am (UTC)I had a question about Torn World, if you don't mind me asking here in your LJ. I have an idea for the musical instrument contest, and I'll definitely have a story, and maybe some art! But I wanted to know... is there a location with rocky cliffs and powerful ocean tides/currents, like many parts of the Pacific coast? If there's anything like that's already dreamed up and a point for me to research what's already been done with it I'd love to know! Thank you.

Date: 2010-08-01 07:52 pm (UTC)I would point you to Ibabesh Bridge: http://www.tornworld.net/settingpageview.php?id=71 - it's got cliffs and maelstroms, and currents strong enough to cause damage to said bridge. You'll have to be logged in to read the article content.
