I will not panic.

I will not fall off the stage and embarrass us all. My costume will not spontaneously fall off. If I turn the wrong way, no one will even notice. Or if they do, they will still clap politely and no one will shun me in the streets or deny me work because I'm a klutz.

It is raining buckets, which is very appropriate for the first day of the fair, and I am glad all over again that I am not vending this year. SO glad. Enormously glad.

The Anthology is a hundred times better than the last one, but I'm still going to do one more pass today (while I wait for the very last images...). Then a shower, then dressing up to go to the fair, which involves makeup and contacts and things that take time because I never do them.

I will not panic.

I get to eat fair food today and be an actual attendee, instead of crazy-busy entrepreneur. Reminder to self - do not stuff yourself on greasy food before dancing. But remember to eat.

I WILL NOT PANIC. THIS ISN'T PANIC. REALLY. JUST BECAUSE IT'S IN ALLCAPS DOESN'T MEAN I'M NOT PERFECTLY CALM AND COMPOSED. WHO SAYS IT DOESN'T? I'M NOT PANICKING.

I'm going to go breathe into a paper bag for a while now.

I'm not sure if this will help to calm your nerves but when I read this entry to Kage, his comment was, "Actually, all the men in the audience would probably be thrilled if her costume spontaneously fell off!"
