Whew!

Oh yay! I had a surprise (the bad kind of surprise!) $600+ bill from my surgery come in this week, and when I called, they said it had been submitted to insurance incorrectly, but had been re-sent just this morning and I shouldn't need to worry about any of it. So, hopefully, four months later, I'm finally through with those bills. Indeed, I might actually get some back, because I did a co-pay on this particular installment, and that probably wasn't counted against my deductible and out-of-pocket, which were maxed out before I was done with the damned testing.

Anthology proofs are in! And look good! I'm approving them and opening pre-orders! Also available with Zine subscriptions!

Pre-orders will be mailed as soon as I get stock. It ships in 10 days (give or take two) and USPS is saying that shipping time is 13 days, but that's just ridiculous, and I don't believe it for a second. I am guessing something closer to a month, maybe even 6 weeks.

Have you guys had a chance to check out the new EMG-Zine site? Like it?? I think it makes browsing an order of magnitude better, and I LOVE the random art feature. Next month, I plan to make gallery and art-viewing improvements.

Well, I don't think putting the full cover at the top of the navigation is a good idea, because it means people have to scroll a lot to see the actual navigation.

Apart from that it seems very nice and pretty. :)

Mm. I love the cover, and find that usually I've scrolled down to read before I need to use the menu. But, I can see that being off-putting, so I made it optional. :P

I am usually popping on there all the time just to get to the submissions page, so I liked having the menu on the top. With that said, I think I'll just make a direct bookmark to the submissions page. :)

Also, what browser is it thinking of? On IE the page is really wide.*checks it in FF* yep, that is what it is.

I like the new EMG-zine layout. The old one was kinda confusing...especially when my script-blocker would block the menu bar and I had no idea how to navigate anywhere. :)
