... I'm starting to feel more human. I've done very little but eat and drink and sleep for the past three days, and am definitely still under the weather, but had a lot more energy today. The knives in the throat have diminished, leaving mostly just a moist cough and a runny/sneezy nose. I can deal with this. Thank you so much for your healthy thoughts and good wishes. :)

Guppy seems utterly unaffected - as wiggly and squirmy as ever. And strong enough now to wake me up with said wiggling and squirming.

There is a Torn World Muse Fusion happening now! Deirdre was lovely enough to run it without my help: http://torn-world.livejournal.com/96649.html

I am not feeling terribly inspired right now (I'm juuuust well enough to feel guilty for not getting more done, but juuuuuust sick enough that it's not actually making me do anything), but I may tackle a prompt or two later.

If that's not enough prompting fun for you, the crowdfunding community is doing a creative jam: http://crowdfunding.livejournal.com/381621.html and [livejournal.com profile] aldersprig is doing a flash fiction call on the topic of 'In the City': http://aldersprig.livejournal.com/373545.html

Huh. That might have been the energy I had. More sleep now, I think.

Sleep is awesome. Do that more. :)

Feel better soon!

You're very welcome for the Muse Fusion!

Here's hoping you can do some sketches, at least!

I'm so glad you're feeling better. Sleep as much as you can. In general, that always struck me as a good idea in late pregnancy (and the approach paid off for me when I went into labor at 10:30 am after sleeping to 10 am! I'm not sure if I could have done it so well without that monster sleep under my belt!)

I guess the wrap hasn't arrived yet? I'm a little worried. You would know better than I- is this normal for international shipping to Alaska? It would be freak out time if I had shipped it to NC or something, but perhaps it's different in Alaska especially this time of year.

Awww...that just sucks that you have a cold thing! :( (HUGS) Feel better soon Ellen! Hot Gatorade sounds nasty, but it might be better than warm milk, which I *know* is nasty. I know you can't have caffeine, but does chamomile tea have caffeine in it?
