Scanned art, no less!! Largish files.

Sickeningly cute, I'm afraid. Jake gakked, and I knew I'd gotten what I was hoping to get... :P

The little gryphon on the left is the same guy from the next picture...

Fun with ink!!

Not real pleased with the overall look; I feel like this could definitely be more punchy. I also tried a really awful horrible glow-y effect on the horn of the near unicorn and hated it to pieces. Thank heavens for Photoshop.

Printer going, kids sleeping, pie baking, maybe shower time....

May I suggest adding a little something to the ring in the near snowy's nose? Right now it's definitely there, but it's, well, completely flat, which detracts from that side of the piece.

Admirable suggestion. Thank you.

Ohhh these are very pretty.. your artwork is totally gorgeous! The snowys are so wonderful! I also like the random chunks/boards of ice in a couple of pics there! :)

Bootiful! You do such a wonderful job, Ellen...even when you think you don't. :P I love the hanging gryphon picture, and I think you did a great job on Bad Snowy. Pretty pretty.

Ooh, purty new Ellen art!

I love the first one; compositionally, it's rather strong, and it definately reaches out and grabs you with the "awwwww..." factor. The it throttles you somewhat.

I *love* the idea of the face in the cliff for the second picture. That's just brilliant, and so well done. I think that's my favorite.

Any your inking rocks, as always. I like the way you're able to capture actual *substance* with just a few lines. The sworls in the treebark are my favorite part, though.

I don't think I like the last one, however, that's probbably just a me personally thing. I'm not fond of much blue. The composition seems a bit forced, too, but there's a lot of overall motion and depth that's pretty interesting. It works well as an illustration, even if only to inspire stories that haven't been told yet.

::sighs:: I really am rather fond of your style.
