Also, I took out the Christmas Tree, which was getting brittle and a little faded, but not actually shedding its needles yet. Norway the brilliant caught sight of it as the sun finally rose, and was convinced it was a MOOSE. Or maybe a YETI. Next to the HOUSE! OH NOES! ... and spent about 20 minutes barking at it.

I don't suppose you have Amazon Prime, do you? (That's where I streamed Season 7--most of it is free instant video with the Prime membership.) Then I broke down and paid Amazon for the most recent 50th anniversary stuff.

We don't have Amazon Prime, but we have been buying individual episodes of Arrow there - we tried Hulu Plus... but they have ads, even with the subscription, which is just boggling and a great big hell no. It might be worth a trial AP membership, at the least. I wonder if they honor that free 2nd day air to Alaska for Prime members. (I'm doubtful, but intrigued!)

We love Prime. I stream from it, you can add all the members of the household to a single membership (so Ursula can use my Prime without any extra charges!), and overall I've found it to be worth the money. You are a special case given the Alaska distances, but they may have a local depot to help with that.

I am mad at Netflix. We were watching the series Dark Shadow and they pulled it off streaming. Now we have to get it on DVD. UGH!
