Living in the future, rant version
Feb. 2nd, 2015 11:49 amSo I bought a movie on Amazon and downloaded it to my ipad, so I could watch it on the TV, because that's how I stream Netflix, and it's the easiest thing to do. Problem? Amazon videos won't export to external devices. They claim it's a rights thing.
FINE. I'll buy a movie on iTunes. I've watched iTunes episodes on the TV without problems. Oh, but not PROTECTED movies. Those won't go out, via my Apple-brand HDMI converter, to the TV. Because rights.
Seriously, I just want to watch the stupid movie that I've legally bought on the stupid TV from my iPad. WHY SO HARD?!

Date: 2015-02-03 01:33 am (UTC)I don't HAVE iTunes. I hear now that if I buy it on iTunes I can download it in a format where I can import it onto my other MP3 players, but to do that I have to install iTunes and make an account, etc etc.
I don't know why it's not on bloody Amazon, where I can download it from a browser, but the net effect of this has been me pirating all the music off youtube.
