January 2015 Roundup
Feb. 2nd, 2015 02:02 pmHave you missed some of my creative updates over the last month? I'm doing monthly roundups to try to keep some sense in the chaos!
Artwork
I did 6 pieces for Sketch Fest: http://www.ellenmilliongraphics.com/sketchfest/sketchfestartist.php?id=9&date=59
Muse Fusion ran the same weekend, and I overlapped many of the prompts.

Temperance got inked and posted, also: http://hotlink.ellenmilliongraphics.com/ellen/19temperance.jpg
Because one of my goals is to get better with color, I broke out my Copic markers and added color to a few existing ACEO inked pieces I had:

I promptly ordered a whole passel of new colors, and have been playing with them ever since.

Other:
I made new goals for 2015: http://ellenmillion.livejournal.com/1492405.html
I did a retrospective of the artwork I did in 2014: http://ellenmillion.livejournal.com/1491258.html
I seriously rock and rolled on the upgrades to Portrait Adoption: http://portraitadoption.com
It's hard to really get across how much of an upgrade it has undergone. There are a ton of fixes and new features, and I had to go back and update EVERY SINGLE portrait. It was grueling, and I'm super proud of myself.
I blogged about our December vacation to Costa Rica.
I updated my Etsy store with three new digi stamps: https://www.etsy.com/shop/ellenmillion
This was my favorite photo of the month:
(But it was really, REALLY hard to pick just one.)
ETA: Patreon perk for January was a pdf coloring page of Evervale and Halfmoon - four small images laid out together. (Evervale portrait, Halfmoon, Shaper's Nightmare, and Evervale Shaping.)
