Last night, we went out twice, to look for the moon.
"It's still sleeping," I told her, before deciding to try to explain again that the moon goes around the world and would come up again later. Sleeping is what stuck, though, of course.
"It has to wake up now!"
And,
"Is it STILL sleeping? It's time to stop sleeping."
This morning, I woke her up and opened the curtains. "What's that?"
"That's another moon!" with great delight.
Tonight we went outside and visited the woodpile and then walked up the driveway to try to find the moon.
"It's still sleeping," she said sadly, when there was no moon to be found. "All gone."
