This is how I'm feeling right now! I had a whole raft of things very close to being done, and I pushed a bunch of them over the finish line, including a piece of artwork I was thinking I'd do for my solo book, but that I don't think will actually make the cut - so I'm going to give it to my Patreon patrons as the April perk, instead (as soon as I scan it). I also inked the Rose Angel in entirety. I will remind you very subtly that he is available for sale at Sketch Fest at the 'take-a-risk' price of $150, and he will cost much more as soon as I've scanned him and released him for real. http://www.ellenmilliongraphics.com/sketchfest/sketchfestart.php?id=18544

The photo above was from the photo/video shoot [livejournal.com profile] laylalawlor did with me on Thursday, and I think the video is going to be epic. Undoubtedly terrible! But epic, nonetheless.

The first coloring book cover is just about done - and it will help set the look of the next few; I am changing just a few of the traditional elements to make a nice unified look for this set. Not so much that previous titles won't all look awesome together with these, but just enough that things don't look stagnant. I think I squealed out loud when I got the color version for Fishtank Fantasies. There will probably be a reveal tomorrow morning when we start our one week countdown to the Kickstarter.

In other amazing news, I got approved for Made in Alaska! This is a strictly monitored state program and I'm super excited to get in. Buy The Bear!

How did Super Ellen! (fun photo!) only just get approved for Made in Alaska? (Adorable logo, that.) Is the bureaucracy that painfully slow, or did it take something state-flavored like the Alaskan wildflowers coloring book to qualify?

Until about three years ago, I wasn't printing the coloring books locally, so they counted against me. I MAY have been able to argue for being 51% locally made, but it would have been a bit of a stretch of the spirit of the program. And once I started printing here, it basically didn't occur to me to apply until now!
