I am such an amateur.

Every time something of mine goes up into the public eyes, I have a moment... sometimes a moment and a half... of complete panic. I'm sure someone's going to find something glaring and basic wrong with whatever is up for judgement and I'll feel like an idiot once I realize it.

Disconnect time... going to go sketch me up an archetypical male.

It always sucks to find a flaw you didn't see when you were making the picture, or to have someone else point it out to you. I used to make the legs of people really huge and didn't realize it until a friends pointed it out. Larry Elmore had troubles with the eyes of his people getting bigger and bigger (though I like those as well as the ones where the eyes are regular), and didn't see it until one day when it just hit him out of the blue. It's interesting, like a shift in your brain, but also a bit embarrassing as you mentioned. The good thing is that nowdays we have paint programs and can fix big problems, and we learn from our mistakes. :)
