More art time!

The 'call at your own risk' sign seemed to have worked. So far.

Which means, art time! Worked a little on a logo sketch I shouldn't have accepted the job for but did anyway, and worked more on the stone wall. :)




Edit: probably won't have any more in-progress shots 'cause it occurs to me this may make a good adoption piece. :)

HB pencil, very light, which is one reason the photos are so crummy. Also, the kneaded eraser is my friend!

This is lovely, Ellen.

And suddenly it strikes me that my problem is like the problem of many people who want to be writers-- it's not that they want to be writers, it's that they want to *have written*. I don't so much want to be an artist as I want to *have painted*, or drawn, or whatever. I want to be good at it. Just not enough to put the kind of dedication and time you do into it. Hm.

That's how I am with writing... it's not the writing that I *really* enjoy, I just want to have written great stuff.

Art on the other hand, well I gotta do that. It is my passion.
