So much for my morning!

ellenmillionI went in to see Dr Deramus about a logo (he's very enthused about my idea, has given me free reign), and as I'm leaving I pause at the receptionist's desk. "I have an appointment some time this month, could you tell me what day?" I give her my new name and she looks at me blankly and says, "I have you scheduled right now." Somehow, completely by accident, I had arranged to meet Dr D the *exact* same time I had an appointment. Huh.
Anyway, I'm now six kinds of dialated and the screen is six times too bright. As is any form of light.
So I'm doing laundry and printing prints that I shall have to inspect before I send because they're pretty blurry. (I touch-type and am just proofing every couple of lines to make sure I'm on home row...)
I attempted to read some LJ entries, but have essentially given up; reading is too hard. I'll have to... clean or something. Can't even drive home to go nap on the couch with the cat.
Kinda disappointed because I had *so* much to do today and was looking forward to doing it. Half my day is already gone and I probably won't be back to reading or writing of note until much later this afternoon.
